Anita Perler, co-founder of Perler Financial Group, brings forth a business education from Capilano University & BCIT, and more than 25 years’ experience in the financial industry. Anita has successfully completed the Investment Funds in Canada Course (CIFC), the Branch Manger’s Examination Course (BM), holds the ALMI  designation (Associate, Life Management Institute), FLMI Level One Certificate, in addition to several other industry related courses. Anita continues to broaden her knowledge in the financial industry and business through ongoing education.

Her role as Chief Operations Officer involves corporate relations and coordination of the overall operations of the firm. In particular, her leadership, organization and communication skills, coupled with her precision to detail contribute to the efficiency of the day to day operations for Perler Financial Group. Anita is also responsible for the management of client services and special events Perler Financial Group hosts. Anita has coordinated and chaired special events for nearly 30 years, so you can be assured that should you attend a Perler Financial Group client event, you are in for a treat!

On a personal note, Anita feels fortunate to work alongside of her husband, Harry, for the last quarter of a century in a business that feels more like a fulfilling life style rather than a career. Together they have two daughters; both in pursuit of careers in the medical field.

Anita holds community involvement in extreme importance. From her early days as the Vice President of her business club at university, through her years as a volunteer in community events and non-profit community groups, Anita’s love for service continuously grows. Her endeavors involve chairing the Ridge Meadows Hospital Gala, the Meadowridge School Gala, the Meadowridge School Golf Tournament, co-chairing the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation’s charity golf tournament ‘Drive FORE Babies’, chairing the “Helping Hands FORE Health” golf tournament, and taking on the role as the President of the 2009 BC Disability Games. Anita continues to make service a major part of her life as she is currently serving on the  Executive of the Board of Directors for the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.


In 2009 Anita was awarded the President’s award from BC Sport in recognition of the leadership, commitment and dedication she demonstrated in her performance as the President of the 2009 BC Disability Games. That same year she was also nominated as Business Person of the year for the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Chamber of Commerce: Business Excellence Awards.

Leslie Marsden
Operations Manager


Leslie Marsden comes to Perler Financial Group with extensive knowledge from having been in
an executive role in the financial planning industry for over a decade.

Leslie graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has successfully completed her Investment Funds of Canada Course (CIFC), the Canadian Securities
Course (CSC) and the Branch Manager’s Examination Course (BM). She continues to expand on her knowledge with ongoing leadership, business, and industry related educational programs.

As Operations Manager, Leslie is responsible for assisting the COO with the general operations of Perler Financial Group. Leslie leads the administrative team which helps our advisors serve our clients with exemplary service. Leslie ensures that all of our firm’s departments function cohesively to ensure our clients’ needs are met. Leslie has developed strong administrative systems and leveraged technology to ensure our firm delivers on its commitments to our clients. Leslie’s strong leadership skills, extensive administrative experience in the financial industry, attention to detail, and positive attitude makes her an invaluable team member at Perler Financial Group.

Leslie has a passion for travel, enjoys spending time with her family, and playing softball.

Josephine Chai 
Executive Assistant to Harry Perler, CEO of Perler Financial Group

Team - Josephine Chai

Josephine joined the firm in July 2002 as Executive Assistant to CEO, Harry Perler, with over a decade of experience in business administration. Her combined education and previous experience provides the executive office with a reinforced level of excellence and efficiency within Perler Financial Group.

Josephine’s eye for detail and resourcefulness in problems resolution contributes greatly to the performance of the group. Her fresh approach to customer service and innovative ideas create a pleasant environment for both the client and firm professionally and personally.

Josephine was born and raised in Malaysia and schooled in England. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Josephine immigrated to Canada in the 1980’s and now resides in Delta BC.

Laura Seekings
CFP, FMA, CPCA – Financial Planner

Laura joined Perler Financial Group in late 2009. She holds three designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA).

Before Perler Financial, she worked in the banking industry since 1991 and has been helping people with their financial planning since 2002.

Harry has known Laura since 1994 when she and her husband had owned a family restaurant in Coquitlam. Laura knows and understands the importance of excellent work ethics, great communication, client appreciation, and industry knowledge.

Laura believes in building long-term relationships with clients and works with them to help achieve their goals by developing long-term strategies. Her friendly demeanour, combined with her education and professional experience, make Laura an incredible asset to the team.

Laura assists Harry & David with the comprehensive financial plans for clients. Her skills in number crunching and calculations coupled with her knowledge in tax, retirement, and estate planning make her contributions to the firm vital.

She remains on top of her work, creating detailed and thorough plans, so don’t be surprised if you receive a phone call from Laura reminding you to book a time to get your financial plan updated with Harry & David!

Taylor Guest
Executive Assistant


Taylor joined Perler Financial Group in September 2015 as an Administrative Assistant, and has recent been promoted to Executive Assistant to Harry Perler and David Olejnik.  With several years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has brought forth a wealth of knowledge in client service. She understands the importance of excellence in service and looks forward to providing such service to Harry’s clientele.

Taylor has completed Investment Funds of Canada Course (CIFC). With a combination of Taylor’s past hospitality experience, growing experience in the financial industry, her friendly demeanor, and driven work ethic, Taylor is an excellent asset to the Perler team.

As Executive Assistant, Taylor works closely with our advisors helping provide exemplary service to our clients.

Che Sterling
Advisor Admin Assistant


Che Sterling brings forth to Perler Financial Group nearly 19 years of experience working in the financial industry. Having worked with major financial institutions, she has extensive knowledge
in providing exceptional client experience and offering reliable support to fellow colleagues.

She excels in problem resolution, is creative, and has the willingness & desire to increase her knowledge to provide assistance to fellow colleagues and clients. Che has successfully
completed her Investment Funds of Canada Course (CIFC) and will continue to expand her knowledge within the financial industry and customer service.

As Advisor Admin Assistant, Che works closely with Taylor Guest supporting our advisors and helping provide exemplary service to our clients.

On a personal note, Che enjoys traveling with her family, gardening, writing and spending times with friends. As a result of one of Che’s major travels, Che now speaks Spanish as a second language.

Stefanie Larson
Administration Assistant


Stefanie has been part of the Perler team since 2007, bringing along with her 13 years’ experience in customer service environments.

As first impressions are of great importance upon entering the office, Stefanie ensures the reception is run smoothly and efficiently. The welcoming environment of the firm is due to Stefanie’s warm disposition and genuine interest in our clients’ health and wellbeing. As such, don’t be surprised if Stefanie gets to know you by name, starts to memorize what you like in your coffee, and learns more about your interests when you come into our reception while waiting for your appointment.

Aside from being responsible of her domain of the reception area, Stefanie helps Harry prep his files and assists other team members with a variety of administrative tasks.

Joanne Goertz
Financial Planning Associate


Joanne joined Perler Financial team in late 2017. Joanne comes to us with 30+ years of customer service experience including 5 years of insurance experience. Joanne assists Laura Seekings with putting together your financial plans.

On a personal note, Joanne enjoys being involved with her children’s sports and activities. Volunteering her time on the Coquitlam Lacrosse Executive and with her daughters dance. She also enjoys paper crafts and walking her dog!

Jeanny Sanchez

Lisa Fong
 Bookkeeping Assistant & Executive Assistant to Craig Perler


Lisa joined Perler Financial Group in early 2010 as a Processing Administrator, advanced her position to Bookkeeping Assistant & Processing Supervisor, and most recently been promoted to Executive Assistant to Craig Perler while still maintaining her role as Bookkeeping Assistant.

Lisa’s education background is in Commerce and Business Administration; holding an Accounting Management Diploma and a General Business Diploma. Lisa has several years experience in the banking industry and accounting field.

She has a very diligent work ethic, is extremely organized, pays attention to detail, and keeps a very pleasant demeanour. All of these skills combined makes her a valuable member of the Perler Financial team.
